Open Thread: Opening Up? Or Still Closed?

Here in NYC, everyone is getting giddy over the prospect of an end to winter and the slow lifting of the lockdowns as more people get vaccinated.

There’s hope here of indoor dining, socializing with other vaccinated people, and even (OMG) going to a movie again. I went to a museum last week and I got glassy eyed with joy. (I missed seeing art in person like I miss seeing people in person – YMMV.)

But what about you? Are things opening up where you live?  Did you finally hug your grandchildren? Are you getting out and about? What did it/does it feel like now?  Let us know in the comments!
